Our mission is to showcase Oracle's Cloud Technology solutions with sales, innovation and delivery with a single team. We achieve this by investing in specific customer workloads and delivering cloud deployments at speed for the customer, to meet their business goals. Oracle P2P is a newly formed multi-disciplined team of experts operating at pace, through qualification, workload scoping, “go” or “no-go” and ultimately delivery across multiple customers in parallel. The P2P program made up of architects, cloud specialists, cloud implementation specialists and project managers. The P2P Cloud Implementation team is allowing you to work in an international work environment in which you collaborate not only with customers across the EMEA Region but also colleagues from various functions that all have the same goal of a successful customer. This team is ready to engage with our customers – all household names you will have heard of. Are you ready to be a key member of this team? Role Summary Your mission will be to be an integral part of a P2P implementations and be involved in the customer engagement from validating workloads through to successful implementation: Contributing to the Architecture/Solution Design, providing experiences / best practices Responsible for the delivery of the agreed Scope of workload implementation Assisting in test of the implemented solution Perform Security Assurance Reviews Tell me more? Working as an implementer of P2P projects you will be part of a versatile team of specialists. Collaborating with your peers, P2P Workload Architects as well as country based Sales and Consulting teams will be critical to execute the delivery model. On a Day to day basis you will participate in either one or more concurrent engagements, to grow a cloud business for Oracle. Typical P2P projects include: DB or applications move to cloud, reporting, autonomous DB, machine learning, analytics, high performance computing and many more. You will be focused on customer success and results-oriented. You will be focused to deliver high quality with your technical expertise and your communication skills, in order to create an outstanding experience for your customers. What does a P2P delivery look like? With opportunities provided by our cloud sales org, the P2P Team will engage with the customer to ‘unpack’ the business challenge (for example Analytics) and architectural scope into a delivery plan that we can align with the customer’s expectations. It is likely you will have already been in the loop with the customer during the “sales cycle”. Once we have a deal signed with the customer, you will work with the customer and the wider P2P Team to ensure we create a short sharp ‘WOW’ delivery experience for our customers in approx. 50days What do I need to bring to the table ? Working effectively across internal, external, culturally diverse, lines of business to define and deliver customer success. Good communication skills, both oral and written! You are able to not only understand complex technologies but also to explain to others in clear and simple terms. You can articulate key messages very clearly. Being able to present in front of customers Proactive approach to the task and self-learner. Ability to work in (virtual) teams. Ability to adapt to change with a positive mindset OCI skills: Good understanding of the IT market landscape & trends You are working in an IT related role today (Consulting, Solution Engineering, Technical Support, Development) You have a good architectural understanding of all technical aspects of a cloud solution including networking, security, resilience and connectivity You have experience working with fault tolerant, highly available, high throughput, distributed, scalable systems You have a good understanding of the following areas: Experience in installation, configuration, cloning, patching, migration and upgradation of Oracle Hyperion Implementation and administration of Oracle Enterprise Manager Experience in Managing Oracle Apps in production & development environment Implementation and administration of HA in R12 and 11i· Experience in Oracle database & RAC· administration Experience in Oracle Middleware WLS or SOA Administration Experience in OBIEE Administration Performance Tuning EBS 11i, R12 and RAC databases EBS Cloud Manager for on premise migration to OCI is an added advantage Others: Total experience: Minimum of 8 years and above. Work experience in a similar role is an added advantage. Technical/IT education, university degree with post-graduation, Engineering Degree.
