About this Opportunity:
Cvent has an opportunity for a Learning & Development Specialist for our Corporate Training team who will deliver high quality training on Cvent products and services for new hires and existing employees.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing global learning & development team that is primarily responsible for the onboarding of new hires on Cvent products. The ideal candidate will have prior training experience, be passionate about helping others develop, excited about technology and eager to partner with internal stakeholders in the development and delivery of training.

Key Responsibilities:

'Deliver virtual and in-person instructor-led training to new hires and existing employees on Cvent software products, as well as topics including processes and procedures
Partner with L&D leaders and line of business leaders to assess training needs and design training approach
Create and maintain curricula (course outlines, instructional presentations, training aids and assessments)
Collaborate with fellow trainers in the development and maintenance of instructional materials as well as delivery of training
Manage operational aspects of training, including but not limited to scheduling, preparing materials, checking technical specs, tracking attendance and trainee performance, providing updates to hiring managers, etc.
Assist with the development of testing and assessment processes and materials for course offerings as well as ongoing product knowledge tests
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide feedback to management and leadership
Contribute to Learning Management System (LMS) with courses, assessments and other training tools'

What You Need for This Position

'5+ years of experience for which primary responsibility was leading instructor-led training (in person and virtually) or 2 years of experience with Cvent’s products. In the absence of knowledge of Cvent products, previous experience training software products is preferable.
7+ years of work experience
Bachelor’s Degree
High comfort level in using online, complex software products.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to quickly learn and implement new and complex ideas, relay those concepts to others, and apply appropriately.
Hands-on experience with the instructional design process is preferable.
Strong organizational, planning, project management and problem resolution skills.
Ability to act independently as well as collaborate with colleagues to achieve needed results
Strong business acumen, ethics and high integrity. 
Ability to create a positive training environment, maintain a professional demeanor and maintain confidentiality when managing trainee challenges.
Ability to remain agile in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
Should have knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Shift: . East Coast hours.'
