Job Summary The Supply Chain Director will be based in Austin, TX, Farmington Hills, MI or Remote. We are looking for someone who demonstrates Intense collaboration Passionate customer focus Thoughtful, fast, disciplined execution Tenacious commitment to continuous improvement Relentless drive to win Here is a glimpse of what youll do Develop and drive the material and supply chain management strategies to deliver customer requirements and maintain financial competitiveness for Flex Collaborate with Engineers on technology assessment and competitive analysis to ensure optimal component sourcing, aligned with Flex's PSL Work with suppliers and identify their roadmap and technology and drive visibility across design and manufacturing Develop strong supplier relationships to assure consistent supply and negotiate best cost BOM solution. Supply Chain risk analysis and prevention. Participates in the review of vendor and customer contracts by outlining requirements and considerations. Provide total best value from supply Chain perspective for customer account during mass production Participates with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and objectives. Provides supplier management as related to product development and integration. Here is some of what youll need (required) Bachelors degree in Business Management, Engineering or related discipline 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management & advanced sourcing Strong commodity knowledge, especially for Electronic components and supplier base Leadership or supervisory experience Demonstrates expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
