This role will be part of the centralized SAP Master Data Administration team, which is responsible for the oversight of customer and vendor master data across our global companies within SAP. It will help to ensure global policies and procedures are followed and will help to standardize the setup process to ensure the quality of customer and vendor master data. In this position, you will get to Create, update and/or maintain customer and vendor master data in the SAP ERP through requests submitted to a global shared mailbox, including monitoring and follow up of this mailbox. Ensure work instructions for the setup of customer and vendor master data are up to date and accurate. Research, analyze and help resolve complex data requests with the assistance of the SAP Master Data Administration Manager. Work with other departments (Inside Sales, Purchasing/Planning, Controlling) to review and clean up existing master data by executing and monitoring required action items. Assist in the completion of required compliance activities related to nVents third-party financial controls. Assist in the collection and submission of data as part of any internal or external audit requests. Work together with nVent Compliance to improve processes surrounding compliance requirements embedded in master data information. Adhere to all nVent internal controls, policies and procedures as part of the vendor and customer set up process. You have Associates Degree required; bachelors degree preferred Previous experience in or with 3 years of experience working with customers, products, sales orders/invoicing, purchasing is preferred (work in Master Data Administration, Customer Services, Purchasing/Planning or Finance is relevant) ERP experience required, SAP experience highly preferred Experience in a publicly traded company preferred Track record of success in process improvements and creating efficiencies that add value to your organization. Skills SAP knowledge of customer and vendor modules highly preferred Intermediate or advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Windows based software (Powerpoint, Word, etc.).
