Responsibilities

Highlight the main responsibilities

Management of a dedicated Team:

By delegation of his Metier Design Manager, ensure the daily management of a dedicated Team (for a

project, an activity, …)

Define targets for each of his team members after coordination with the Project R&D PTM and his R&D Metier

Design Manager

Secure team capabilities in line with the mission (training, additional support, equipment, …)

Manage in real time all issues being faced and escalate as appropriate

Support project in front of the customer directly in meetings or by providing adequate material

Define and follow budget and time schedule for his dedicated team if any

Secure Product Robustness, apply standards

Enforce standards for methodologies and product solutions

Call for the support of experts and / or his network as needed

Organize Design Reviews, supply all necessary reports to the project.

Perform DFMEA

Manage link with other network, call for hierarchical support if needed

Secure availability of all required inputs (internal or external) to perform “right first time”

Mechanical Product Definition
