Job Description Responsibilities Perform and support any and all aspects of the VLSI/ASIC design flow to design products. Define and implement RTL based design solutions using Verilog/SystemVerilog HDL. Perform, debug, and create RTL and gate level simulations. Perform and support synthesis, STA (static timing analysis), formal verification, and APR (auto place and route) for designs at block and chip levels. Perform, debug, and analyze chip power down simulations and CCK/ERC checks. Execute, debug, and modify scripts in Unix to analyze data and run CAD design flow. Support silicon validation and debug silicon products in order to achieve Release to Production. Work effectively in cross functional team environment. Job Requirements Job Requirements Degree in Electronics, Microelectronics or Electrical Engineer. 7 years experience relevant to the job description Broad engineering, debug, and problem-solving skills. Strong digital design, microprocessor, and CMOS device operation understanding. Technical knowledge of IC design methodology. Good communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a cross functional team environment. Knowledge of analog circuits and circuit simulators preferred. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl and Tcl preferred. Knowledge of basic layout concepts is a plus.
