Senior HR Generalist The role will support the Senior HR Manager with the full spectrum of HR activities but not limited to implementation of HR initiatives, payroll management, compensation and benefits, employee life cycle, performance management, employee relations, labor relations and statutory compliances. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and/or maintain HR programs, policies, employee handbook and employment contracts to ensure compliant with local employment legislation and regulations Ensure all HR practices are compliant with legislation where applicable, develop and share HR best practices Support in the implementation and execution of global HR initiatives at local country context Ensure that HR processes, records, systems and communication are efficient and effective, including all required information, with necessary approvals Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Managers and Team Leads and work closely with HR Manager on developing a plan as per employee engagement conversations Establish strong and effective working relationships with internal/external customers to promote and support positive employee relations, Company culture and employee engagement efforts Support HR Manager on liaising with payroll service providers and ensure smooth and timely payroll processing Ensure all statutory compliance documents, registers and returns are maintained as per statute Maintains HRIS records, compiles and analyses and presents MIS reports effectively Work with various departments on related research and special projects Assist with regulatory audits as and when required Any other duties as and when assigned DAILY HR OPERATION ROLE INCLUDES: Maintains timely and accurate data in HRIS, perform changes/ updates to employee records, prepare necessary documents and generating of reports Audit employee documents, employee files, and all relevant system database related information to ensure accurate and complete employee records are maintained at all times Monitor the HR Help Desk and respond to employee queries regarding HR related programs, Company policies, and employee benefit programs Responsible for conducting pre-employment background checks, coordination and liaison with vendors Responsible for ensuring timely audit and monitoring of time office reports and absence management through HRIS Processing of new hires and leavers, including support in effective coordination and implementation of employee life cycle management processes (on-boarding till exit) Collaborate with other departments including payroll and purchasing, accounting and finance on invoicing related matters to ensure timely and accurate of pre-defined processes This description is an outline of the main duties and responsibilities of the designated role but other duties may be assigned from time to time as where situation requires. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Graduation with post graduate management degree/diploma in HR preferred Minimum 7 years’ experience in HR function with maximum years of exposure as a HR Generalist Strong exposure and knowledge of HR statutes/labour laws, policy framework and HR generalist role Exposure in working with HRIS/ERP system, particularly with Oracle is an added advantage Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and analytical skills Ability to multitask and work under specific timelines/ deadlines Ability to self-start, find solutions and deliver results within strict deadlines Ability to handle fast-paced, high-pressured environment Extreme attention to detail and ability to produce zero-defect work Strong relationship management skills, organizational skills, coordination skills and ability to work cross-functionally and cross-organizationally A team player who is able to work well with all levels
