We put our people first by creating a global employee experience that builds will work in the Global License Management team which is responsible for ensuring to track, approve, and provide Evaluation licenses based on request received from internal stakeholders (that comply with established policies) in SFDC Case Management Responsibilities:Business process SME (Subject Matter Expert) for all License Management Process; first Point of Contact for questions from team and internal stake holders (SE, PSO consulting, TAM, SA, TSE, Fields/Account team and othersExecute and manage all types of Evaluation License for global customers, maintaining SLA and adhering to compliance guidelines and requirements including revenue recognition and SOX guidelinesSupport queue management & prioritization with a focus on SLA complianceDeliver training for New Hires, team members and other groups as neededHandle any daily operational issues and drive for improvementRepresent the business unit in cross-functional meetings including QBR (Quarterly Business Review), any launch-related meetings and project UAT. Drive any project-based task requiring physical order fulfillmentBuild and maintain a strong relationship with internal and external partnersManage all Demo, promotions, VMworld License request related activitiesAssist in documenting of processes and procedures and the creation of reports and presentationsDefine best practices to ensure business continuity and audit complianceProvide thought leadership and drive process improvement for the groupProvide mentorship to new or junior team membersSupport all License Management related tasksSupport on quarter-end and business continuity activitiesDeliver on ad hoc assignments as business requiredYou Need:5+ years' industry experience in an operations role, preferably in License Management activity or software product lifecycle3+ years' experience with SaaS transformation and business operationsBachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science or Business AdministrationDeep knowledge and understanding of software product and license deliveryExperience defining, measuring and reporting critical metrics in both visual and written formProficiency in Oracle 11i and aboveKnowledge of SKUs and inventory managementAbility to analyze and solve complex problems and define and implement process changeAbility and motivation to work in a multi-task environment, both independently and as part of a teamStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels within the company, as well as customers, and vendorsAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work outside of standard office hours as per business requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeGood work ethic and sense of responsibilitySome travel and/or shiftwork may be requiredYou Preferably Have:Bachelor's DegreeExperience/firm knowledge of SaaS business (Software as a Service)Experience in managing license complianceStrong reporting and analytical skillsProficiency in Oracle or SAPKnowledge of software LicensingWe are an Equal Opportunity employer and value diversityVMware is committed to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
