Job title – Regional Trading Head - Mumbai Overview of job MediaCom is looking for an energetic, self-motivated Media Buying Investment Director with 14-16 years of experience. The resource will be responsible for a range of media buying related work on the P&G brand including working on media buying strategies for clients, ideating, negotiating & executing integrations, managing relationships with clients, internal stakeholders & media owners. Some of the key responsibilities include:Understand the media marketplace through meeting with key media owners and vendorsWork closely with the Mediacom Bangalore media planning and buying teams to deliver innovative media partnershipsNegotiate best in class media rates and placements for our clientsDefine a long term media owner roadmap and strategy for Mediacom clientsEnsure all investment records are maintained for audit best practiceWork closely with the GroupM trading communityProvide investment best practice to Planning & Buying teamThe job requires someone with a lot of maturity and keen on learning. It would be an opportunity to work with a team having varied experience. Able to handle tough situations with clients, auditors, internal stakeholders & media passion for all things media, with a strong understanding of industry trends in mediaA strong commercial negotiator - able to gauge good value for our clients and influence senior people within large media companies to deliver itExcellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and ability to motivate and develop staff and delegate effectivelyExperience identifying opportunities for organizational/process/system improvements and supporting the development of robust solutions to realize them
