Job DescriptionCreates defines and develops system validation environment and test suites Uses and applies emulation and platformlevel tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec Responsible for the development of methodologies execution of validation plans and debug of failures Requires broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture Design and Presilicon Validation teams in improving postsilicon test content and providing feedback for future ondie debug featuresQualificationsYou must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates The scope of the deliverable will vary based on the target platform and specific issue at hand Hence the candidate must have a solid big picture across the System While having that big picture the candidate must also have good understanding in one or more the following areasMinimum Qualifications and skills Candidate must possess a Masters or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or a related disciplineShould have hands on work experience in one or more of the following areas Platform Debug Stability Validation methodologies Si Design Validation or debug Memory Debug RAS Python scripting Server Memory architecturePreferred qualificationsExperience in designing and testing Si and or platformDeep understanding and hands on experience on Server or x86 ArchitectureExperience working with System Architecture HW FWSW as a wholeSoftware Hardware and server architecture microarchitecture experience in Multisocket server architecture and memory hierarchy Different memory access methodologies and architectures eg NUMA UMA memory pools etc Familiar with UNIXLinux platforms SW profiling debugging tools ability to understand kernel traces and Kernel debugging Understanding of different memory hierarchy pools and SW use cases for different memory tiers Understanding of NUMA and UMA exposure to SW and or OS and related usecases Exposure to test Automation Frameworks test design test execution CICD environments and familiarity with DevOps tools Exposure to different cloud environments and cloud workloads Knowledge of virtualization technologies usecases and workloads
