We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Project Manager Principal responsibilities The Senior Project Manager role is responsible for co-ordinating the activities of IT Development teams, user departments, Operations and other service departments, and external parties such as software and hardware suppliers to deliver assigned projects on time, within budget and meeting appropriate levels of quality. Be a strong functional lead hand who work efficiently to make sure we are building the set of team and functional requirements using the right principles. Facilitate and build consensus amongst a wide range of partners including business owners, technology, operations, legal & compliance, product & sales Drive product feature & backlog user story design / refinement, and developed product epics, use cases, spec-by-example options, user stories, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives in line with Agile or similar software development approaches Bridge the technical and business worlds, ensuring we are building the right products, in the right order, with a combination of long-term feature development, data-driven requirements and operating model expectations. Define Critical Success Factors (CSFs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other objectives that must be met by the project QualificationsRequirements Knowledge of Asset Management domain. Experience in an IT transformation program Have delivered across a global multi-functional team using an inclusive approach Understanding of Investment Banking and Asset Management – Front, Middle & Back Office functions. Financial industry knowledge within investments and distribution highly desired (., understanding of investment process, capital markets, fixed income, equities. Experience in building high-quality, enterprise-level advanced technology applications, understanding the technical or business design elements of configurable and modular components Experience in Product Owner/Feature discipline doing business analysis, crafting data-driven requirements, owning a roadmap, managing the project scope and timelines, developing business and project plans, tracking to required due dates and high-level budget planning Should be a strong leader who will manage the team to deliver the required. Excellent communication skills - written & verbal. Should be able to create good documentation and correspond on functionalities & issues concisely. Should be able to articulate well during discussions. Should be able to work with tight deadlines. Confident of interacting with business users and various stakeholders. Skilled at using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Visio. You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.
