Responsibilities Application / Team Overview From Shared Technology Environment(STE) we handle all administrative activities for a variety of middleware technologies. We also provide development support for hundreds of applications. This particular role is created for Talend Administrative and development support. Our primary function is to engineer and implement technology solutions that will help application teams avoid production outages and produce quality software. Our STE services include below. Engineering Onboarding Reusable Tools Environment Automation License Management SME support along with advanced troubleshooting Design and Code Reviews Initiatives that improve productivity and result in efficiencies POCs and adoption of new products Interact with SA, dba, developers and product and send requests to Architecture Role Description All STE Services listed above Design and Develop tools to standardize and automate monitoring , application support activities. Technical support to applications on trouble shooting Environment, software and application level issues Write, test programs using Unix Shell scripting, oracle PL/SQL programming ; Perform unit testing. Partner with cross functional teams across Development, Validation/QC, Production. BusinessObjects server builds Administration and development support involving trouble shooting Providing design inputs and code reviews Support Global teams across all of ICG supporting cutting edge solutions. Expertise in BO products including Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Central Management Console, Central Configuration Manager, and Business Objects servers and services. Managing support services and change management using Servicenow application Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering Technical / Functional Proficiency Knowledge/Experience Minimum of 4 years BusinessObjects administration experience Experience in BO products including Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Central Management Console, Central Configuration Manager, and Business Objects servers and services Experience in Business Intelligence and analytics concepts Experience in DB connectivity and reporting/analytics Experience in creating metadata Experience in L3 support for BusinessObjects Strong ability to work in a highly focused technical environment together with other motivated and driven professionals, as well as the ability to work independently. Must have experience in participating in the management of multiple concurrent initiatives while relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
