Role Objective:
-Build new reports and enhance existing reports using Microsoft Power BI
Essential Responsibilities:
-Participate in design and development of Power BI data models (datasets) and reports
-Develop models and reports according to published standards
-Functionally test reports and perform data validation
-Interface with end users for iterative user acceptance testing
-Participate in design sessions and meetings with stakeholders
-Essential / Technologies:
-Extensive experience with Microsoft Power BI including data model design, report design and development, work spaces / apps
Strong DAX skills
-Deep understanding of security as it pertains to data access, scope, and distribution of reports and dashboards
SQL skills
-Experience working with very large data warehouse
-Good to Have Skills / Technologies:
-Experience working in Agile and/or Scrum framework
-Experience with Alation data catalog
