This role’s key objective is to support commercial activity and accelerate revenue growth for the Oracle Construction and Engineering Global Business Unit primarily in India however may involve the rest of JAPAC on an ad-hoc basis. The ideal candidate should have a background in enterprise and cloud solutions and worked within the engineering and construction industry. In a time where remote presentations are most prevalent, the ability to engage with our customers remotely is essential however, travel will be required when it is safe to do so. Primary responsibilities include: Solution Engineering support for India/ SAARC region Discussion with customers, validate customers’ pains and requirements via meetings, phone calls, Zoom and/or emails; Demonstration of Oracle Construction and Engineering solutions based on clients’ requirements either derived from RFP or detailed requirement analysis; Clearly articulate solution capabilities in response to RFX’s highlighting customer benefits Creation and monitoring of customer evaluation, pilots and proof of concepts; Addressing technical questions regarding a defined sales opportunity Undertake value-based selling methodologies and tie solution capabilities to overall benefits and goals of the organisation Running seminars for target accounts Other responsibilities include: Run knowledge sharing sessions within the team Enable sales team with latest solution updates Liaise with Product and Strategy teams to communicate customer requirements Support for marketing events with industry and product presentations Desired Domain expertise includes: Project and Portfolio Management including Planning, Scheduling & Risk Management Document Management & Collaboration including BIM Cost and Contract Management/ Project Controls/ Payment Management Quality & Safety Management (Issue Resolution, Defect Management) Project Procurement and tendering Desired Technical/ Applications expertise includes: Primavera P6 Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management Aconex SQL and report writing skills Life at Oracle: An Oracle career can span industries, roles, countries and cultures, giving you the opportunity to take on new roles and challenges, while blending work and life. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques.
