Sales Strategy - In close cooperation with the Advance staining & Pathology Imaging Team , should be able to generate new prospects and business . Also maintain close contacts with existing customers and key customers for expansions, new projects, replacements etc. Level of customer engagement should be CXO , Dean & Medical director Area Of Coverage: Southern Part of India Sales Plans & Activities - Plan visits to customers sites depending on the potential, priority, and the volume of business etc. Must be aware of competitor’s activities, products, pricing, strengths and weakness and accordingly device new action plans to counter these in an effective way. Forecasting - Prepare accurate weekly and monthly pipeline data in SFDC for Sales Forecasts for AS (Advance Staining & Pathology Imaging) Product Supply - Close liaison with supply Centre, concerning the supply of products to the Customer. Close liaison with Business Development Manager to carry out required Presentations using CRM and with existing / new customer reference centers. Plan and carry out regular visits to existing customers to continually monitor requirements and satisfaction levels, business trends and competitor activity. Ensure customer relationship management system (CRM) is fully maintained and up to date. Use Leica/Danaher Growth tools to increase market share Validate sales funnel in terms of realistic chance to win contract and prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales Ensure countermeasures in case sales forecast might not be hit with high priority Represent company at trade association meetings, State and Regional level conferences, seminars, workshops etc. to promote products in hrs. of need. Plan and deliver special projects as requested by the Business Development Manager IN ORDER TO address specific tactical and/or strategic business needs. Supply information on Market share development, competitor’s activities, trends and market developments in geographic region of responsibility to Sales Management and Marketing. Education / Experience Should be B Pharma, (Biotech) or BSc Or Msc in Biology with good experience in Histology products. Preferably from the field of diagnostic consumables/instruments Minimum 6-8 years of experience in a good MNC. Experience in similar field
