The Analytics & Modern Data Warehouse team is a group of highly skilled Cloud Analytics & Data Warehouse Architects and Engineers who will work with customers to develop modern analytics & data warehouse architectures that will enable our customers to get insights from their Oracle Cloud Applications and other non-oracle data sources. The team focuses on Oracle Analytics Cloud, Modern Data Warehouse and Analytics for Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP & HCM) Solution including Data Integration, Data Modeling, Data Wrangling, Data Ingestion, Data Visualization and Machine Learning. Job Description We are seeking about 8 to 10 years of experienced Cloud Engineers with a strong track record of business analytics and data warehousing, to join our team providing deep technical expertise in Analytics, Business Intelligence and Machine Learning across all industry sectors. Our Cloud Engineers work closely with Product Managers and Cloud Architects to design, build and enable repeatable Analytics solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role demands a highly technical, extremely hands-on cloud engineer who will implement Analytics Solutions to drive consumption of Oracle Analytics Cloud, Modern Data Warehouse & Oracle Fusion Analytics for Warehouse Cloud users. The ideal candidate must have a good understanding of the value of data and analytics, as well as, proven experience in delivering solutions to lines of business and technical leadership. From a top down approach, the Cloud Engineer will engage with customers to discover business problems and goals, and develop solutions using Oracle Cloud services. The candidate must: Be an expert in Oracle's analytics offerings: Oracle Analytics Cloud, Data Visualization, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), OBIEE, OBIA and Fusion Analytics for Warehouse Have solution design skills to provide expertise and guide customers for specific needs Be extremely hands on Data Integration to build Data Warehouse and Analytics reporting solutions. Run and Deliver Customer Hands on Workshops Interact with all roles at customer, including Executives, Architects, technical staff and business representatives Key Skills Primary focus on developing customer solutions using Oracle's analytics offerings: Oracle Analytics Cloud, Data Visualization, Fusion Analytics for Warehouse, OBIEE, OBIA, ODI, Machine Learning and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) Must have extensive, hands on, end to end implementation experience using OAC / OBIEE Reporting tools – BI Publisher, Analysis & Dashboards Deep Expertise in design and development of Oracle BI Repository (RPD) solution Experience in configuring OBIEE / OBIA security (Authentication and Authorization – Object level and Data level security) as well as tuning and multiple source systems Advanced knowledge of OBIA pre-built content and deep experience with customizing/extending OBIA pre-built content of different modules Solid understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) tools, Data Warehouse (DW), Data Modelling concepts, SQL and PL/SQL. Good knowledge of Oracle Applications – Oracle E-business Suite or Oracle ERP, Oracle HCM (the Oracle cloud SaaS offering) is preferable Deep knowledge of Database, Cloud Concepts, Autonomous Data warehouse (ADW), Data Integration (ODI / GoldenGate) is an added advantage Basic Knowledge / awareness of Tableau / Power BI / ML Studio / Snowflake and Azure / GCP / AWS background is a plus Partners with customers, sales, engineering and product teams to design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. Drives Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services including discovery, design and deployment. Responsible for participating in customer engagements to collaboratively design and implement solutions. May work directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures and translates business needs into solutions. Implements solutions and ensures successful deployments through code development and scripting. Displays product/application understanding through more customized presentation demonstrations to customers and at conferences and events. Supports customer from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services via resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training. Creates and distributes technical assets (white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations). Serves as a technical point of contact for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success. Further builds business and technical acumen. Minimum qualifications include: 5 years experience with computer applications and tools required. Ability to travel 25% international and domestic. Preferred but not required qualifications include: Bachelor of Science-level university degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering from accredited university; and/or relevant 5 years technical experience. Expertise in system and application design; Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills; Needs analysis, positioning, and business justification; Solving technical problems with customers in technical environments.
