Technology & Operations Risk (TOR) organization?s mission is to deliver first-line defenses to manage Cyber and Fraud risks to Morgan Stanley?s technology, operations and information through risk identification, control management and assurance. The Access Management (AM) team which falls under the TOR organization, provides solutions that span all aspects of entitlement management, including change management during employee lifecycle events, review, provisioning, de-provisioning, auditing, reporting, adoption of applications using both in-house custom products and vendor products. Job Description - Development Lead in Information Security The TOR Access Management team is looking for a regional lead in India. We are looking for team leader with experience in building, deploying and managing enterprise class software platforms who is ready to create and leading our team in India. Someone who can lead a diverse team of software development and production engineering professionals that will operate across a wide range of technical skills. From full stack application development to agile team leadership to data science and AI/ML to cloud app infrastructure support and development to plant management through SRE. We are looking for a candidate eager to build a team that can apply innovative solutions, modern solutions to the challenges of managing application risk. The candidate will lead the Technology Operations Risk - Access Management department presence in India. As a bank entrusted with the responsibility of protecting the financial interests of millions world-wide, we are required to ensure their information and assets are properly protected against risks such as data leaks and fraud. These protections are ensured through tools provided by the Access Management platform. This platform includes tools such as: Systems for defining and managing entitlement models that require complex modeling of business processes and reference data. End user GUI tools used across the firm to manage requests for entitlements, visibility into existing entitlements and lifecycle events. Analytical tools to provide visibility into risk exposure by examining clustering of common user patterns, outliers and usage patterns. AI/ML platforms that are applying re-enforcement learning techniques to generate systematic entitlement management tools Highly fault tolerant, highly scalable platforms supporting application runtime queries on user entitlements. Data collection, warehousing and revocation execution tools that can ensure that we complete visibility of user entitlements from across the firm and can action lifecycle events in these tools. Developer tools supporting the development of on-prem and cloud applications with support for entitlements integrated by default. The candidate will join leading a team of 50+ employees and consultants in the region who are actively working on development or management of the Access Management platform. The candidate will take ownership of developing and growing this team to become one of our main locations for the advancement of the Access Management platfrom. Organization Required Skills and Experience - 10+ years of experience - Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field - Experience in leading medium to large scale enterprise platforms - Experience leading Agile Squads, Chapters and Fleets - Skilled in identifying, leading and motivating strong technical talent. - Team player with an appetite for complex computer science problems - Skilled in Production Management and developing and managing SRE?s Technical Domain Skills - Kafka - Spark - Java - JavaScript - UNIX - Agile/DevOps - AI/ML - SOA, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON - Azure Cloud This successful candidate will be someone eager to understand new emerging technologies and lead technologists in looking for innovative solutions to existing problems.
