Role: First Line IT Support, Noida Job Overview To provide 1st line (helpdesk) technical support to internal users globally, assisting them with hardware and software problems. What are we trying to do?With the expanding support services, the current team is over loaded. Need to expand the team to take further L1 tasks which can be handled remotely The resource will help in taking the current work load and existing team will get trained on the new task What do we need help with?Provide support services to the Global users in IT and IS areas Handle IT Purchasing for Global offices Pro-actively document user-guides for Self-HelpWhat will you do?· To provide technical support, answering support queries.· To maintain a high degree of support service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles.· To take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.· Maintain full documentation.· Respond to inquiries from users and help them resolve any hardware or software problems.· Maintain a log of any software or hardware problems detected.· To allocate more complex service issues to the relevant IT Support you’ll need to know:Key skills required:· Min Graduation in Computer Science or equivalent like B-Tech, MCA.· Relevant 1st line / Help-desk support experience.· Strong knowledge of Desktop support, Help-desk support, Remote Support, Windows, Office-365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IT Purchasing, Atlassian tools, Jira, Confluence, Antivirus, Printers, Software Installations, and troubleshooting.· Experience using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 (MS Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).· Experience with using and troubleshooting Outlook within a network environment (permissions, calendar sharing, and delegation).· Basic understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration.· Strong Customer service skills, Good communication skills to handle Global users, Experience in handling cases through ticketing system, Good Verbal and Written skills.· MCP certification would be beneficial but is not essential.· Comfortable with 24x5 work we are?Automation positively transforms the lives of people and business.
