Segment: S&P Global Market Intelligence Grade: 7 Location: Ahmedabad Role: Data Researcher III The Team: S&P Global Market Intelligence seeks a Data Steward for Security and Trading Item Data within the Reference Data Domain. Data Stewards work within the Content Team and advocate for their dataset across the various content domains, as well as the product and technology teams. The team integrates and maintains cross-reference identifiers at security and listing levels to support 3rd party data vendor ingestions and products like GICRS, BECRS, XpressFeed, and MI. It provides an integrated view of company, security and listing relationships. The Impact: The role is highly collaborative and is focused on bringing together stakeholders in the formation and successful execution of business strategies. The successful candidate will work within the context of a cross-functional team aligned between Steward Leads, Operations Managers, Product, Sales and its support functions, Marketing, and Agile development teams. The individual’s Key responsibilities includes but are not limited to: - Assist with security and trading item project lifecycle (requirements gathering and consultation, implementation, user acceptance testing, and signoff) - Understand the working of the dataset, be aware of the workflows and have good working knowledge of work tools - Deliver on predefined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with quality and excellence. - Stay abreast of updated guidelines and policies - Work with AGILE technology teams in the role of UAT member to complete the design of security and trading item reference data ingestion processes and tools while partnering with other content teams utilizing shared tool sets. - Work on new projects as assigned from time to time as per Company requirements - Timely and appropriate response to mails from co-workers & Management Team - Escalating concerns on time and with correct line of communication. - Ideate and execute Process improvement and Automation projects - Adapt to new process and technologies based on project requirements Basic Qualifications: - Graduate or Post Graduate Degree preferably in Engineering/Math/Finance/Computer Science - 0-2 Years of Experience - Knowledge of RDBMS concepts - Hands on experience in developing and executing SQL Queries - Good Written and Verbal Communication is must - Analytical mindset and strong in logical reasoning - Well versed with Internet searching and Microsoft Office - An inquisitive and investigative nature. - A Positive attitude, strong interest in research, flair for writing and an eye for detail - Ability to work collaboratively across departments Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in MS-office - Certification in SQL, Data Science - Familiarity with security and trading item reference data - Knowledge of GICRS and BECRS product offerings About S&P Global Market Intelligence At S&P Global Market Intelligence, we know that not all information is important—some of it is vital.
