A flexible work arrangement is design in such a way that an employee can chose to work any time he wants. This is completely opposite of the non traditional work culture and can either affect the goals of an organisation in a long run. Some of the benefit of flexible working are a better work life balance for employee, lower level of work stress, improvement in trust and a better relation with the employer etc. Despite these often cited benefits, flexible working style divides opinion and is seen by some as a slippery slope to too much employee freedom and reduced expectations of productivity.
